Artificial intelligence is no longer a future consideration, it is a present and accelerating force reshaping strategy, operations, risk profiles, and accountability at board level. From generative AI and advanced analytics to autonomous decision-support systems, boards are increasingly expected to oversee technologies whose speed, opacity, and scale challenge traditional governance models.

This Board Masterclass on AI Governance, organized together with the Swiss Data Science Center, an initiative by EPFL, ETH and PSI, is designed to equip board members and senior leaders with a clear, practical, and board-ready understanding of how to govern AI responsibly and effectively. Moving beyond technology hype, the masterclass focuses on what AI means for fiduciary duties, strategic oversight, risk management, ethics, regulation, and long-term value creation.

The Masterclass combines governance principles, real-world cases, and actionable frameworks to support informed boardroom discussions and decisions. Its ambition is simple but demanding: to enable boards to govern AI with confidence, foresight, and integrity, turning a complex technological force into a source of sustainable value and responsible leadership.
