Prof. Dr. Gilbert Probst

Gilbert Probst is Honorary Professor of the Geneva School of Economics and Management at the University of Geneva, Chair of Swiss Board Institute, Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Swiss Institute of Directors, and Co-director of the Center of Innovation & Partnerships and the Geneva Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Geneva

He is the former Chair of the Board of the Cantonal Bank of Geneva and served as a board member for several companies in retail business, building materials, travel, aluminum profiles, complex extrusion, haute couture, and high tech. He was Managing Director of the Leadership Office at the World Economic Forum and Co-founder of the Strategic Knowledge Group, a consulting firm in Zurich.

Gilbert is a former Director of the Executive MBA at the University of Geneva and founder of the Geneva Knowledge Forum, and the Center for Organizational Excellence. He is a former faculty member of the University of St. Gallen, the Wharton School/University of Pennsylvania, and the International Management Institute.
