Ph.D. Markus Menz
Markus Menz is Professor of Strategic Management and Dean of the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), one of the University of Geneva’s nine faculties. He is also Founder and Director of the Geneva Center for Corporate Governance.
An award-winning educator and researcher, his work concerns corporate strategy, corporate governance, organization design, and strategic leadership. His research has been published in leading scientific journals and several books, and appeared in the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung. He is also an advisor, board member, and frequent keynote speaker.
Before joining the University of Geneva in 2015, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Gallen, where he received the overall University’s Best Teaching Award, and a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. He received a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen.
