Dr. Felix Horber

Felix Horber is a consultant, lecturer and member of the Board of Directors. He was Secretary General and Manager at Swiss Re from February 2007 to April 2024. He is Chair of the Board Secretary Chapter of the Swiss Institute of Directors and lectures at the Swiss Board School and as a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen. Felix was a part-time senior judge in the Canton of Zug until December 2024. Felix Horber is a member of the Legal Committee of economiesuisse.

He began his professional career at UBS, where he was Corporate Legal Counsel in the Group General Counsel’s department and Senior Advisor for Corporate Governance. Felix studied law at the University of Zurich and received his doctorate in 1986. He was admitted to the bar and notary’s office of the Canton of Zug in 1988 and completed several postgraduate studies at the University of St. Gallen.
