Dr. iur. Fabian Akeret

Fabian Akeret is a Senior Associate in the Corporate/M&A team at Walder Wyss. He advises on corporate and contract law, with a focus on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions as well as venture capital, and regularly publishes in these areas.

He studied Law & Economics at the University of St. Gallen (B.A. 2014, M.A. 2017) and earned his doctorate in 2023 (Dr. iur. HSG) with a dissertation in the field of sales law. He was admitted to the bar in 2021. Prior to this, he worked, among other roles, as a court clerk at the See-Gaster District Court and as a trainee lawyer and attorney at a business law firm in Zurich.

Fabian Akeret primarily works in German and English and also speaks French. He is registered with the Bar Register of the Canton of Bern and is admitted to practice as an attorney throughout Switzerland.
