Swiss Board Day 2026: Shaping the Future of Board Leadership
More than 450 board members and governance leaders gathered at the Kursaal Bern on June 30 for the Swiss Board Day 2026, Switzerland’s leading annual meeting place for the board community.
The day brought together distinguished business and governance leaders, including Johannes Läderach, Annemarie Widmer, Alois Zwinggi, and Pascale Bruderer, to explore how boards can navigate an increasingly complex environment while remaining focused on long-term impact.
Discussions ranged from entrepreneurship, ownership and leadership to governance, transformation and the evolving responsibilities of boards. A dedicated Chapter Zero Arena complemented the program with a forward-looking discussion on climate governance and board leadership.
Beyond the stage, Swiss Board Day once again demonstrated the value of bringing the board community together: to exchange perspectives, challenge established thinking and build connections across companies, industries and generations.
