BF Launches “NextGen Board Leaders” Initiative Together with St. Gallen Symposium and Stars

The Board Foundation, in collaboration with the St. Gallen Symposium and the Stars Foundation, is proud to announce the launch of its new “NextGen Board Leaders” initiative. This initiative is designed to prepare the next generation of board leaders for the challenges of an increasingly complex global landscape, fostering innovation, inclusion, and sustainability at the highest levels of governance.
The “NextGen Board Leaders” initiative brings together the unique strengths and expertise of three renowned organizations:
- The Board Foundation, known for its dedication to advancing effective and ethical board governance.
- The St. Gallen Symposium, an internationally recognized platform for intergenerational dialogue and thought leadership.
- The Stars Foundation, a leader in empowering emerging leaders to drive impactful change.
Key program elements are as follows:
- Reverse Mentoring Program: A pioneering approach where experienced board members and senior executives will engage in mentoring relationships with young, high-potential leaders. This exchange ensures cross-generational insights, fostering mutual learning and broadening perspectives on leadership and innovation.
- Training Programs for Future Board Leaders: Tailored workshops, simulations, and case studies will equip participants with critical skills in governance, strategic decision-making, and navigating complex challenges. These programs will emphasize practical learning and include input from leading experts across industries.
- Networking and Joint Activities: Participants will gain access to exclusive forums, collaborative projects, and networking events, enabling them to build meaningful connections with current and future leaders from diverse sectors.
The “NextGen Board Leaders” initiative is set to launch its first cohort in Q3 2025, with opportunities for both emerging leaders and experienced board professionals to engage.
