Swiss Board Chair Diploma

The new Board Chair Program by the Swiss Board School offers Chairs, Vice-Chairs and Chairs to be of businesses in Switzerland an exclusive forum in which to engage with each other and a select international faculty team.  The focus of the program is on personal development and board-led organizational transformation: participants work with their peers and the faculty to define and implement material change projects in their boards and in their companies. At the conclusion of the program, participants take away a sharpened view of their roles as Chair and a calibrated action plan for board-led transformation.

Program  Structure

Defining the Board Chair Challenges

5.9.2025

Board chairs face fundamental strategic and leadership challenges. On Day 1 , the participants identify and discuss these challenges based on state-of-the-art evidence and experience.

Navigating the Board Chair Challenges

6.9.2025

On Day 2, the participants set an individual board chair agenda to tackle their challenges. They profit from intensive coaching and peer learning.

Growing from the Board Chair Challenges

13.12.2025

On Day 3, the participants share and reflect on their change efforts, actions, and results. They will also deep dive into their future (transformation) priorities.

Group Work

Each participant to take the role of presenting business action agenda and laying out a specific change commitment, with others acting as NEDs and giving feedback to each other 

 

Evening program

Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas on with your course colleagues over dinner and thus expand your network.
